HONEYCRISP APPLE DUMPLING

Ingredients:  **Dumpling Crust                        

  • ½ cup cold water                            
  • 1 cup Crisco                                      
  • 1 tbsp sugar                                   
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups flour

Ingredients:  **Stuffed Apple

  • 1 Large Glascock’s Produce HoneyCrisp Apple 
  • 4-6 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Craisins 
  • Walnuts
  • Cinnamon
  • Fistful of Brown Sugar

Directions:

  • Roll out dough in fourths. 
  • Core apple, place in middle of dough.
  • Stuff apple with brown sugar, craisins, walnuts and more brown sugar.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Wrap apple in dough.
  • Paint dough with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. 
  • Top with vanilla ice cream and share with someone special!
