Laura Glasock graduated from James Rumsey Technical Institute for Horticulture in 1997. We purchased our first greenhouse the next year in 1998. We have now expanded to three greenhouses and three high tunnels for extended season production.

 

What is an heirloom tomato? Usually open-pollinated so each plant is slightly different. Thus the chances are higher that they will develop resistance to a pest or disease, as opposed to hybrids, which are genetic twins of each other. They are 80 years old or older and able to survive in their own backyard with a real homegrown taste you can't resist and will talk about for years!
